Kalamata Film is an international production and distribution company that brings together production studios and distribution departments in Serbia, Spain, and the UAE under its brand.
The company’s producers have been creating high-quality international level TV series for over 10 years, with a portfolio of more than 70 series, 5 of which have been featured on Netflix.
Kalamata Film focuses on producing series for the international market. Currently, it is developing series for the South Korean film industry, as well as feature films in collaboration with the Greek production company Heretic (known for “Triangle of Sadness”) and the German X-Filme Creative Pool (“Babylon Berlin,” “Good Bye Lenin!” and “Run Lola Run”).
Kalamata Film specializes in creating films and series based on true events. The company is interested in investigative journalism and news stories centered on human experiences, unique characters with extraordinary fates, and historical events that have dramatically impacted people’s lives.
To produce such films, we are seeking partners in Serbia and Spain. We are interested in collaborating with media experts and investigative journalists to discover stories suitable for producing feature films and series for Serbian, Spanish and European audiences.
